DJI's Zemmuse XT Thermal Camera is a highly sensitive thermal imaging gimbal used as a tool in many differing industries. The combination of DJI's expert gimbal technology plus the industry leading thermal imaging technology of FLIR, the Zenmuse XT is the ultimate thermal imaging solution, making it easy to complete tasks with ease.
It includes a digital zoom as well as spot metering and temperature at a mid-point and can shoot 640/30fps or 336/30fps depending on the model of the camera.
The Performance Model is engineered for emergency responders in order to identify large temperature differences. It displays the imagery in real time to show an estimate of the temperature that is at the centre of the camera view.
The Radiometric Model is engineered for inspectors as it allows users to tap any pixel on the agree for accurate temperature measurements, or select a whole are to display an average highest and lowest temperature within that selection.
Below are the specs of the lenses on the XT. The lenses change how clearly you can see an image through the camera.
The camera is a game changer as it provides many solutions to industries creating a safer and easier way to complete the task at hand.
Search and Rescue
Thermal imaging from a hight is revolutionary to search and rescue teams as it grants better access to assess hazardous areas quickly and safely. Especially to firefighters when a building is up in flames they can track where the fire resides, where any person may be stuck, as well as noting if the roof may be on edge of collapsing.
The data provided from the cameras can also become 3D maps of not only land but water masses which also becomes a safer operation when assessing natural disasters and providing aid to victims.
Inspections
The XT allows inspectors to identify compromised temperatures in solar energy plants which enables immediate action to take place on isolated panels. It also has the capacity to inspect wind turbines, power plants, power lines, solar panels and oil and gas facilities with extreme precision and ease. The technology allows the inspection of structures with leaks and weaknesses that are undetectable to the naked eye are immediately revealed which therefore lets inspectors make critical decisions to carry out repairs.
It makes a drastic difference to inspection facilities as the operations are completed with efficiency as data can be accessed onsite and remotely all while also allowing facilities to stay open and running instead of shut down while inspections are taking place.
Surveillance
When it comes to surveillance you want to be able to identify a subject quickly with ease. Drones are used to execute aerial inspections swiftly and precisely with the help of the XT camera. Investigative teams use the technology to target a person of interest in the most complex instances.
Mining
Using the XT camera quarry managers are able to undertake thermal detection of ground water inflows, monitor extractions, identify misfires and wall damage, and take immediate action when required. This enables the area to be surveyed for hazards, creating a safer work environment.
