As of this year, Australia Post will be launching a trial of parcel deliveries via the use of a drone as a part of their 2016 "Convenience" innovation strategy.
The company aims to contribute to the Technological Revolution of the 21st Century by collaborating with a major customer in the new year . According to Financial Review (30th October, 2015), the company will be using drones to deliver parcels weighing up to two kilograms directly to the doorstep of consumer homes.
