The DJI CINESSD is pretty much an SD card on steroids. This power-horse is used for recording with the Inspire 2 to meet the demands of data needed for filmmaking. It uses an NVMe logical device interface specification and also features four PCI express ports to support FAT32/exFAT file formats.
It comes in:
- 128GB
- 240GB
- 480GB
The 240GB and 480GB allow the Inspire 2 to record videos at write speed of up to 4.2Gbps.

As this new level of quality is so demanding, the capacity of the Inspire 2 CINESSD range must also be on par. You may still record on a Micro SD card however you will not be recording to the true potential of the Inspire 2. As you may have noticed in the table above, depending on how you want to record and which CINESSD card you use will affect the capacity you can shoot and the quality. If you want the best quality and to record for the most amount of time we do recommend the 240GB or even the 480GB.
