Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
If you can’t find an answer to your question or query on rentals in our FAQs, please don’t hesitate to call us 1800 119 111 or email us at info@spheredrones.com.au
Once we have agreed on what is required and you have approved your quote, you will need to send us your brand guidelines (as a pdf) and all (agreed) logos.
We require your logo(s) in a vector format (Illustrator ai or eps). Please provide all brand / corporate fonts in a Mac compatible format. Please note logos supplied in Jpeg, PNG, PSD and Tiff formats can be used but are NOT preferred due to resolution issues at time of printing.
If a specific colour information is not noted in your brand guidelines, please provide your colours in a CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) breakdown or as PMS colours. Please note that all drone skins are printed & produced in CMYK
Due to the nature of most drones having irregular shapes, it is NOT advisable to feature photographs as image distortion can occur.
Depending on the style of drone and what accessories are required for your kit – for example, additional batteries, 2-way VHF radios or customised 3D printed solutions, the process can take up to 2-3 weeks. This includes artwork design, building the asset register and submitting for your approval. From this point we need to produce a prototype & then print and apply the decals.
As a rule, the minimum quantity is 10 kits.
We use a polymeric cast vinyl as it allows us to wrap organic or non-geometric shapes. For printing we use eco-solvent inks. The decal skins are matte-laminated to protect them from UV damage, scuffing and moisture before they are die cut to shape. Please note that while we laminate the skins prior to cutting and applying to the drones, we can’t guarantee scratching, UV bleaching or moisture issues will not occur.
Due to the unique shape of each drone & the relevant accessories, plus the unique asset matrix we employ across your drone fleet, we can not accept your submitted artwork
