The Delair DT18-HD is a fixed-wing, long-range, surveying and accurate mapping drone. It is designed for large area use with best-in-class coverage and range performance. Now exclusively in Australia through Sphere Drones, it is the perfect solution for highly precise and safe surveying and mapping in industries from geospatial, mining, construction, oil & gas, agriculture and transportation to name a few. Certified for beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS), it has Direct Georeferencing (DG) embedded on board (= mapping without the need for ANY survey GCP’s!!), an impressive 105 minute flight time and integrates Delair’s brand new HD sensor options.
The Direct Georeferencing technology uses PPK GNSS coupled with a high-precision Inertial Motion Unit (IMU). These features ensure an easy work-flow from drone through to analytics, without the requirement for surveyed GCP’s. DG technology is also the ideal mapping technology for efficient and accurate corridor mapping.
The Baby Bear autonomous telemetry tracking antenna enables confident directional tracking of the drone during BVLOS operation. The DT18-DG can optionally be fitted with Delair’s “Cellular Connectivity” 3G/4G telemetry. This proprietary telecom network telemetry provides full command and control through the 3G/4G network and supplements the long-range Baby Bear telemetry and adds important telemetry redundancy for BVLOS operations.
