As you may know, theres a new toy on the block and we can't wait to tell you all about it. The DJI Goggles, a comfortable set of specs that are designed for a seamless immersive FPV flying experience. If you have ever felt sad because of the fact that humans most likely will never evolve a pair of wings to fly, these Goggles will give you some satisfaction that is just as good. Here at Sphere we know when something is absolutely game changing and here it is.

The Goggles truly do revolutionise the way drone users operate. DJI has said that the view from the Goggles is like looking at a 216" screen from 3 metres away. The long range and low lag create this exciting new way of flying.
You can also connect the HDMI cable to a gaming console as well as the Goggles to give you an immersive video game or movie experience.

As much as they are fun to use, they do play a huge role in assisting professional users. When flying, especially in direct sunlight, the screen of your device becomes a lot harder to see making it complicated to know whether or not the image you are capturing looks the way you want. Now with the Goggles this problem is eliminated as the two large ultra-high quality 1920 x 1080 HD screens show you the exact image that its being captured in real time. You even have complete control of photo and video capture.

The Goggles are paired with DJI's new Intelligent Flight Modes:
-
Fixed-Wing Mode
This mode fixes the aircraft to fly forward and capture rotational movement for realistic flight simulation without having to turn the entire aircraft left or right. In other words its like looking around mid flight, which is what you do with the Goggles. With the Head Tracking Mode, your head movement is mirrored by the aircrafts gimbal.
-
Terrain Follow
This mode lets you preset a distance away from the ground nearest to the drone and the aircraft will follow along at that distance even when approaching a slope or hill.
-
ActiveTrack
This mode allows you to highlight a subject you will like to film and it will follow the subject according to your preference.
-
TapFly
This mode allows you to tap on your devices screen where you would like the aircraft to travel and it will go there whilst avoiding obstacles.
-
Cinematic Mode
This mode increases the braking distance as well as creating a slower yaw speed which both create a smoother visual for that cinematic feel
-
Tripod Mode
This mode stabilises the aircraft in one spot mid flight which allows you to capture smooth visuals of the surroundings from a hight.
The Goggles are compatible with the Mavic Pro, the Phantom Series and the Inspire Series through a range of built in interfaces. You can also use two sets of Goggles for the one aircraft to give yourself and a friend the same immersive experience.
The Goggles may look heavy however with DJI's ergonomic design, they are comfortable and flexible as they balance evenly around the head minimising pressure on the face. They are also comfortable for people who wear glasses. The front portion of the Goggles can also be flipped up to step out of the virtual and glimpse the real world.

Whether you plan to take flight and see the world like a bird, or use them professionally to get the ideal shot, the DJI Goggles are a perfect fit for you.
